Bed and Breakfast Mare Blu

The staff made us feel very welcome, and breakfast was great. My room was clean and comfortable. There’s a terrace and kitchen where you can relax and chat with staff or other guests. I was traveling with a cat, and they were very accommodating. There are good places to eat and supermarkets nearby. The entrance can be a little tricky to find, but follow the signs and you’ll get there!

We were a group of 12 and loved how large, comfortable, and spotless the rooms were. The property is charming and welcoming, just a few steps from the sea and other amenities. The common areas had everything we needed, though the heavy, dated furniture made them feel a bit dark. A small redesign could make them even more inviting. Our host was genuinely kind and helpful. She let us use the kitchen to cook dinner together, and we had such a pleasant evening. Her hospitality made the stay feel extra special.

The owner was super helpful, and the property felt very welcoming. It’s a short walk to the center of Gioiosa Marea and about five minutes by car or motorbike to Capo Calavà. Highly recommended!

The B&B was spotless and practical, and the beach is just 150 meters away. There’s also a supermarket and an excellent bakery nearby, while Brolo and Capo d'Orlando are about a 15-minute drive. I spent five days here with my partner and my Amstaff. The owner was very kind and quick to find ways to meet our needs, especially making sure our dog had room to move around. He did, and we stayed in a room with a counter. I’d recommend it to anyone, and I’ll definitely return!
