Gaetano, the shuttle driver, along with Manola, Tomaso, and Ana Maria, were wonderful and made our time in the city worthwhile. The room itself was disappointing for what we paid. The old bed and completely flat pillows felt worn out, and water leaked in the bathroom because the door wouldn’t shut properly. The AC also didn’t work, even set to 16°C. When I asked Gaetano at reception for help, he told me to set it to 19°C and said that would solve it. I still can’t believe that was his answer.

Breakfast was the one decent part. We had an early flight, and they said they’d arrange a taxi and provide breakfast boxes, but there were no boxes for us. The taxi also seemed like a scam: it cost 40 euro for 10km. The hotel felt poor for the price, and getting around nearby wasn’t easy since proper transport was lacking. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The spacious facilities were spotless, and everywhere we went we were met with smiles and genuinely warm, friendly people. It felt like a peaceful little oasis, just right for a romantic getaway 🥰🥰🥰.

Breakfast was good, and the rooms were cleaned every day. Still, the hotel is a long way from Bari, with poor public transport. At the beach, you can only use certain spots because umbrellas are reserved for guests from other hotels. The rooms are basic and don’t feel like four stars. There isn’t even a kettle or coffee machine, and there’s no coffee to buy. The pool is overrated, and you have to pay 3 euros for a cap. We went on a trip at 6 30, but breakfast service wasn’t open and we were told we couldn’t have coffee. It should start at 6.
