Hotel & RESORT BEE QUEEN

I stayed here during a school trip, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and looked after well. I'd definitely recommend it.

We felt very looked after here and would gladly come back, even though the sea itself wasn't especially nice. The pool was a real highlight: very clean, supervised the whole time, and there’s a little bar for ice cream, chips, coffee, and drinks. The staff at reception were kind and helpful, and we had a relaxing stay. Our room was clean, and they kindly brought us a small fridge when we asked. There was no bidet, which was a bit inconvenient. Other rooms had one, though the upstairs rooms looked newer, so I imagine those may not have them either. I was hoping for a sea view every morning because the hotel is right by the water, but another hotel building blocks the view. There’s a free beach entrance right across the road, along with lidos where a lounger and umbrella cost €6 each. Lido Antille is a good option, with secure parking that’s free. For bars, restaurants, or anything else, though, you need a car since there’s nothing within walking distance. There’s hardly any evening entertainment nearby. That didn’t bother us, as we don’t usually look for nightlife, but anyone wanting to go out and have fun won’t find much in the area.

The service was so grumpy and rude that it felt as if we were getting in the way. There clearly weren't enough staff: it seemed the maid cleaned in the morning, then cooked dinner and served it to us in a tent that evening, with paper tablecloths. The food and coffee were things an Italian wouldn't swallow. The hotel is more or less joined to the neighboring resort's kitchen, where noisy parties like weddings and birthday celebrations go on, with fireworks and noise well past midnight. We travel a lot and have never experienced anything like it. The negative reviews here are true. Avoid this hotel. We stayed as part of a sightseeing tour with Fisher and Exim travel agencies, and I recommend they change the accommodation.

We were won over by the staff's warm, genuine hospitality from the moment we arrived. Everyone was so helpful, and the location is excellent. Our room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, with a very comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was generous, with lots of choice and everything top quality. A lovely find, and a hotel we'd happily recommend and return to.
