Olympic Royal

The mountain views were stunning, especially from one of the better rooms. Ours was basic and clean, with surprisingly comfortable beds, though some carpets looked a bit like a coronavirus molecule under a microscope. Everyone on staff was incredibly friendly and polite. The food could be hit or miss, and the menu got repetitive. I can wait a while before seeing another cordon bleu. Sometimes it was great, other times there was carbonara made with cream. The hotel is in giustino, just a short hop from pinzolo.

The sauna and bath were great, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, though the pillows felt too small and we had some trouble with the hot water. We came for a ski holiday, and the hotel helped arrange everything, including a bus to the ski station. The ski resort is very close. The food was delicious, and the staff were really friendly. We had an amazing stay at Royal Olypmic Hotel!

The staff were the nicest part of the stay, although their English wasn’t good. The hotel feels like three stars at most, rather than four. Rooms were small and dark, with too little light, and I didn’t find slippers or a bathrobe in mine. The sauna wasn’t working. Food was poor: breakfast had a limited selection and no fruit, apart from apples I saw once on my first day. You had to get there before everyone else for a normal breakfast. At dinner, some dishes were unavailable, and sometimes I was given something different from what I’d ordered. The dessert table was okay, with a few choices.

Really nice hotel, and I’d recommend it. The staff are very friendly. Martina is the star of the place, the nicest person in the world!
