Un Sogno Che Si Avvera

We had no complaints about the room or location. The apartment was almost new, had everything in its place, and was close to central Gorizia. But after we left, the owner called because he thought we'd brought an animal that had left hair all over the apartment. We don't have any animals, so we couldn't figure out where the hair might have come from. Who knows...

Aside from the surroundings being reasonably pleasant, nothing went right during what was my worst vacation ever. I stayed from August 14th to 18th, when it was scorching hot. At the B&B I was told straight away there was no air conditioning. Breakfast and housekeeping were poor, and there was no shower gel or shampoo, though luckily I bring those from home. There was a fan, but the owner said it was his and we shouldn't touch it. And to top it off, the owner lived on the premises, so there was ZERO privacy. A nightmare come true! If you're looking for "a dream come true" in Gorizia, keep going. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!

I was in Gorizia for an event in the city center and only stayed a night, but I’d like to come back. The place is in a peaceful, quiet area, and the rooms are genuinely huge. It’s been recently renovated, and the owner-manager is warm and helpful, making guests feel at home. The location works well for visiting Gorizia or heading out on excursions.

Breakfast comes from the owner’s roomy kitchen, and he gives you plenty of space while you eat. Everything felt new and was extremely clean. The rooms are bright, airy, and spacious, in a very quiet spot between the countryside and the city. If you’re a dreamer like me and the owner, this place has a bit of a dreamlike feel.
