Alcantara Natura Country House

We found plenty to explore nearby, with Mount Etna, Alcantara gorge, and Taormina all close by. The hosts were so kind, and the food was amazing. Hot water pressure was a bit weak and the water wasn't very warm, but everything else made that easy to forget. We had a great stay.

The peaceful setting in the Alcantara Valley was lovely. We had quiet breakfasts on the terrace, took walks in the countryside, and watched the sunset with a glass of wine. During our three nights at Alcanta Natura Country House last September, we felt at home from the moment we arrived. Tino handled everything with care and professionalism, and his genuine hospitality made our stay easy and enjoyable. Rosalba brought so much warmth to the house, and her cooking was a highlight. Each meal, made with fresh local ingredients, was full of Sicilian flavor and felt like a special part of the experience. We left with great memories and a real appreciation for the care Tino and Rosalba put into welcoming guests. For comfort, authenticity, and heartfelt hospitality in Sicily, this place is a wonderful choice.

Rosalba and Tino have put so much heart into this place, and they really are wonderful hosts. Rosalba is one of the best cooks I've ever met. We had stinco di maiale, parmigiana, caponata, involtini di vitello, pasta with mushrooms and sausage, "alla Norma," and other treats. Every dish was so good I wanted to lick the plate clean. The rooms are thoughtfully furnished and have good heating. The pool looks like it must be lovely in summer, and I'd love to come back for the food and hospitality in the beautiful Alcantara surroundings.

We felt right at home here. It's a lovely, cozy place, and the hosts make great Sicilian home-cooked dinners with good wine at a fair price. We stayed for all four dinners.
