A real peaceful gem, with friendly people, a relaxed feel, and lots of adorable animals. The homemade food is simple but tasty and very reasonably priced. It’s set among beautiful mountain peaks and old forest, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for some quiet.

We enjoyed this quiet mountain retreat and the people were lovely. They serve homemade food every day. There’s no A/C in the rooms, which was fine in the cooler mountain weather, though a heatwave could make that a problem. The pool was dirty while we were there because the filtration didn’t seem to work. Hopefully that was temporary.

I stayed for 3-4 days and was glad to have the time to settle in and appreciate the place. Even in the heat, my room stayed pleasantly cool without aircon, and the pillows were the best of my whole trip. The dogs do bark at night and the rooster starts early, but I still slept really well. There are trails to wander, and the animals are a big part of the place: donkeys, horses, pigs, alpaca, cows, goats, very friendly dogs and cats. I stayed nearby the whole time, reading, strolling and having lunch or dinner at the restaurant. There’s no menu, just whatever’s being cooked that day, though they’ll accommodate special requests. The pool wasn’t working during my visit, but I can see it being nice on hot days. It feels like a forest, farm, animal haven and a good base for exploring the region all at once. You get out of it what you put in, and I’d love to return. If you want a few days away from everything and love animals, this is the place. Thanks to everyone who works here, I’ll miss you all.

A quiet spot away from the city, with starry skies and good walking routes starting right there. The rooms are small but tidy, with towels, soap and everything else provided. Breakfast was good, with plenty of sweet things, plus coffee and tea. A nice place to relax.
