B&B Policlinico

This was the worst B&B I’ve stayed at in Catania, though I’ve tried quite a few. The owner was rude and, in my experience, completely unsuited to the job, treating customers like dirt. Service was poor. Last week she didn’t even change the towels or sheets. She insisted on receiving all the money immediately at check-in, or it turned into a serious conflict. With the amount charged, a lot of things don’t work, and they don’t even provide a proper invoice. The customer is the one keeping the business afloat. They won’t see me again.

I spent a weekend here with my boyfriend and really liked this charming B&B. The owner, a young woman like me, was incredibly kind. Our room and ensuite bathroom were spacious and modern, everything was very clean and smelled lovely, and breakfast was excellent, especially the coffee.

The room was cared for down to the smallest details and smelled wonderful. I stayed here for two days, and its spot right beside the hospital was convenient. More than anything, I appreciated how friendly and helpful the owner was. I’ll make sure to stay here on my next trip to Catania. Thank you so much.

A lovely, very clean place. There’s a kitchen available, with dressings for making a good salad. The self check-in instructions also point out various markets and places to eat.
