Inn Naples Airport

I was in the area to visit my son, who’s stationed at the nearby US Naval Base, and the hotel worked well for that. My room was clean and spacious, and the staff were kind. Salvatore was especially helpful and attentive.

Fabio Scognamiglio, the General Manager, helped me get a personal item back after I accidentally left it behind during my stay at Inn Naples Airport. The team found it quickly, packed it carefully, and shipped it to me. I really appreciated how warm and thoughtful they were throughout. I’m a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium member and stay at Marriott properties around the world, so I’ve had plenty to compare with. This team stood out for its kindness and professionalism. I’d happily return, and highly recommend the hotel.

The pedestrian gate at NSA Naples is about a 10 minute walk away, which made this a handy option when the lodge is full. The room was basic but spacious, and the AC worked great in the summer. Everyone on staff was kind and accommodating. They arranged a taxi to the train station ahead of my departure. I’d stay here again.

We cancelled our reservation right away, but still haven’t received the deposit back. The hotel had charged us to hold rooms for our planned military travel without telling us the deposit was non-refundable, and we never agreed to that. They stopped replying to our emails and calls. This started in Feb, and now it’s Oct. Marriott Bonvoy couldn’t help us, either. The hotel displays the Marriott brand, but the customer service was nowhere near what I’d expect. Marriott also wouldn’t help with our issues because the hotel is only an affiliate, which made dealing with an overseas property especially difficult. Based on how our inquiries and calls were ignored, I’d discourage anyone from staying here if travel problems come up. Marriott should reconsider letting the hotel use its brand, since this reflects badly on Marriott too.
