Camping Village Il Sole

The area is beautiful and the campsite is very close to the sea. It’s okay for the price, and I’d recommend it if you know what to expect. Bring something for the mosquitoes, though, they’ll eat you alive. There’s techno music every day until 11-12 pm, which caught us by surprise. This isn’t a good fit if you’re out sightseeing all day and want an early night. We were used to this kind of thing ending around 10pm on weekdays. We also weren’t allowed to ride our motorbike in, while people in cars could. If you drive slowly, the bike isn’t much louder than a car or the party going on until midnight. The shower lasts long enough for a quick wash, but not for washing long hair. I guess you could get extra time by stepping outside the shower during the process, but that’s not very comfortable. And a lot depends on your neighbours. A young group playing music on a small speaker all day could make it less enjoyable.

We had such a lovely family holiday in this camp. Our mobile home had enough room for seven people, and when the bed broke, someone came to repair it the same day. Reception staff were very nice and happy to help with anything, including ordering a taxi, and the saleswomen were always smiling. It had a family atmosphere, with a place to grill and a small disco. The beach was about a 10-minute walk away, through a pleasant forest full of pine trees and cacti, with cicadas all around. We still love remembering it, along with the wonderful places we visited: Firenze, island Elba, Pisa, Siena, Castigliano della Pescaia. Beautiful Tuscany ❤️❤️❤️

It’s a family-oriented campsite, mostly used by locals, in a nice spot in the middle of the forest. The downsides were mosquitoes, no hot water from the taps, and paid showers that were too short.

That place was awful. Everything about it was shocking, and I feel like I threw 300 euros away on junk.
