We had a great holiday for a fair price, and the owners were kind and helpful. The apartment is simply furnished but has everything we needed, including a washing machine and dishwasher. There’s no air conditioning, but the rooms have large windows and the place gets a good breeze. The location worked really well for us: Marina di Grosseto’s beaches are a 10-minute drive away, Castiglione is under 20 minutes, and Punta Ala and its beaches are easy to reach too. From the cool patio you look out over the garden and the wide Maremma countryside, with sunset views. Since it’s in the countryside, insects are to be expected, but that’s normal. Bring mosquito repellent and be sensible about windows and lights. The mugs, cups, glasses, cutlery, and large knives were fine. I’m picky about pots and pans, so I used my own rather than comment on those.

The apartment was spacious, with a big garden, and the location was excellent. It would work well for children too. The dishwasher and washing machine were great, and I’ll come back. A few things need attention: the fridge didn’t work very well, the sheets and towels were a bit old, and the shower slide was broken.
