The place has a delightful atmosphere in the green hills between Grottaferrata and Frascati. It’s in the former stables of Villa Grazioli, a magnificent neighbor. The room was good and everything clean, though the bathroom felt a little dated. Andrea’s service was excellent, enthusiastic, and had a few small flaws. He has plenty of will and determination, a good start, and he’ll manage. Breakfast is at a partner café in Frascati. I’d suggest arranging it at the property instead. It’s a simple, frugal breakfast, but at least there could be coffee. A DeLonghi machine would make me happy. I can’t drive without coffee, and the road is very narrow and bumpy. I’d stay again!

The staff were very friendly, and it’s an excellent place. Access to the pool and the private road leading to the Scuderie di Villa Montalto could use some improvement.

We’ve already come for dinner twice and for aperitivo once, and that was well worth it too. The food is excellent, especially the generous mixed raw seafood starter, which is a must! The setting is romantic and beautifully maintained, with lovely outdoor seating surrounded by greenery. The staff are attentive and friendly. Magnificent place, we’ll definitely return!

The room was fine, apart from a pair of used slippers left in the wardrobe. There were also some issues at reception.
