B&B Le Palme

We had a very comfortable room with its own bathroom and shower, and breakfast was plentiful. Everything you need is nearby, and the sea is 800 meters away. The owner was always available and happy to point us in the right direction. We'll be back as soon as we can. Thank you.

A handy stop for anyone needing a rest near the highway exit. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with private bathrooms, and the price is affordable. There's plenty of outdoor parking, and you can walk to the seafront in 5 minutes. Emanuele was friendly and helpful. We had a perfect stay, recommended.

Quiet and charming, with a good spot for getting off the A14 toll road and resting overnight. Parking is plentiful, either outside the building or across the street by the sports field. There's a pizzeria and a restaurant within an easy walk. The rooms were clean, and breakfast was a great start to the morning.

We were really disappointed, and after staying here, the good reviews that brought us to this B&B are hard to understand. The kitchen was literally falling apart and needs fixing. The room and balcony weren't clean either: there was a finger's breadth of dust on the bedside tables, and the balcony hadn't even been swept. For two nights, we got just two towels, one large and one small. We managed, but I don't accept being told to "just call" for more when this should be a basic part of a paid stay. Breakfast starts at 8, but the lady who handles it was making so much noise before 7 that we couldn't sleep. The dishwasher, apparently, can only be switched on at 10, once breakfast is over, so we lost sleep both days. And breakfast itself was awful. At 8:00 AM there were two tiny, dry supermarket croissants, a small supermarket cake from an off-brand, two yogurts in strawberry, banana, or some similar flavor, one soy milk and one mini lactose-free milk, juice, and no water. There was also a basket with four packaged items, which hadn't even been replenished by the next morning. I skipped breakfast there both mornings, and my husband bought food for himself every other morning. The lady could be very attentive, but if she saw you heading out the door, she'd snap, "Do you have to pay?" The coffee machine in the common area shuts off at 10:00 AM and is then controlled remotely, as if they worried guests might take two coffee pods. We had to call to ask about it. I hadn't eaten breakfast there for two days, but since I paid, I thought I should at least be able to have a coffee. The man even asked, "Did you find the pods?" as though we were thieves. Paying by debit card was another hassle. The lady had to call her son because there was no way to pay by card at the property; they had to send a link and so on. We travel a lot and always stay in B&Bs. In 2024, this kind of situation is unacceptable. I don't understand how a place like this can keep a business going.
