We had a very nice dinner at the restaurant, and they catered for gluten free. The room was nice, with a beautiful balcony view, and the bathroom had been renovated well. My only criticism is that the swimming cap rule also applies at the spa. We thought that would make it less relaxing, so we didn’t buy access.

The hotel is nice, but the indoor pool was nothing special. The breakfast was so-so, and I won’t be back.

A great base in central Tuscany, with amazing views and a solid location.

There were lots of lovely spots to sit and unwind, and the small bar had great service. The pool looked lovely, but apparently you have to wear a swimming cap to use it. I don’t know anyone who owns one these days. My room was fairly small, and the power shut off automatically when I left, so don’t leave any tablets charging. It’s a quirky, rustic hotel in a fabulous spot for exploring the Tuscan countryside.

The room was clean and comfortable, and there were plenty of great services in an amazing location. All the staff were accommodating, and I especially want to thank Tommaso. He called a long list of taxi services for us, then offered to drive us around San Quirico himself because the prices were quite expensive. You can see how much he and the rest of the team care about giving good service. We had a beautiful stay at Casanova and a wonderful introduction to Tuscany.
