Agriturismo Ampugnano

Alessandro and Silvio were such excellent hosts, and it was lovely spending time with them. Because our family has celiac disease, they made sure there were cakes and snacks in our rooms that we could eat. We hope to return someday.

Nebbia, the owners’ "butler" dog, even guided us to the front door when we arrived. Alessandra and Silvio are welcoming and know what they’re doing. Their apartments are spacious, neat and comfortable, a real little gem in the Umbrian hills.

Everything is cared for and clean, from the apartments and gardens to the pool. The farmhouse sits among the Umbrian valleys, with gorgeous views all around, while the quiet is broken only by crickets and cicadas. ALESSANDRA and SILVIO are FANTASTIC and welcomed us with a delicious homemade cake. If you need a very relaxing break to shake off built-up tension, this is the place. I highly recommend it.

We had such a peaceful holiday at Agriturismo Ampugnano, and definitely recommend it. The garden and lovely pool area are beautifully kept, and the whole place feels calm and quiet, surrounded by greenery under a deep blue sky. Our apartment was clean, practical and thoughtfully furnished, with wonderful views from the windows. It’s easy to reach a range of towns from here, including charming lesser-known places like Montone, Citerna, and Mugnano. We found them through the hosts’ useful brochure, which they made for their guests. Alessandra and Silvio were welcoming, helpful and courteous from the start.
