Agriturismo Casella del Piano

Our boys had a great time in the pool and playing basketball. We were out in the countryside among sunflower fields, but still close to the center of Gubbio. Silvia upgraded us to a really spacious apartment without us even asking. Service ottimo, and the whole family and staff were so kind and considerate. Dinner was great, and Mara cooks wonderfully. Umberto is such a warm person and takes good care of the property. We hope to come back soon. A big thanks to the lovely family!

The food at the restaurant was tasty and perfectly seasoned, with a small menu that worked really well. Silvia helped us pick a wine and got it exactly right, and the waiter was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend it for a real taste of Umbria. We stayed in one of the apartments, which are spacious and have all the utensils you need, so they suit longer stays. It's very quiet, with countryside views. The mattress was too soft for us and the pillows were thin. The weather wasn't great, so we didn't get to enjoy the pool or sports court. Breakfast, though, was delicious, with freshly baked cakes.

The white ragù pappardelle were fantastic, and the tiramisu was perfect. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was excellent, easily five stars. It is on the pricey side for an agriturismo, and the wait for the first course was long, which was a shame. Still, the meal and service were great, so I'd definitely recommend the restaurant.

We came for dinner, but the food wasn't anything special, especially for the price. Given the location and setting, it felt far too expensive.
