Agriturismo Il Podere

Francesca looks after this agriturismo with so much care, and it shows. Set in the Umbrian countryside, it has a lovely familiar feel, with comfort, peace, kindness, and helpfulness all among its strong points. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the hills was fantastic. Thanks, Francesca, and keep up the good work.

The view is breathtaking, and the place is so relaxing. It's on a hill about 10km from Gubbio, reached by a well-kept uphill dirt road of about 1km. Francesca, the owner, looked after us from arrival to departure. The rooms were warm, clean, and welcoming, and breakfast was sublime, with excellent sweet and savory options. I tried to find a flaw and couldn't. See you soon.

The owner was incredibly kind, the place spotless, the view stunning, and breakfast outstanding. I can't think of a better way to describe the stay, even six stars wouldn't be enough. If you're arriving by motorbike, note that access to the B&B is along a 1km uphill dirt road. The owners suggest filling potholes with rocks. We'll definitely be back.

It's hard to put into words how good we felt here. The farmhouse is carefully maintained, with breathtaking views, about 10 minutes from Gubbio. Francesca welcomed us with a wonderful smile and took such thoughtful, discreet care of us throughout our night there last weekend. The cozy room and generous, pastry-shop-style breakfast were just what we wanted. I'm so grateful to Francesca for this magical place and for being such a lovely person. Cristina
