Gattapone 9 was a great base for our two nights in Gubbio, and we’d return on our next visit. The apartment is fully equipped, with two bedrooms, high up on the hill and top shelf. The owners responded quickly to our questions and requests and made sure we were comfortable and could use all the amenities. It’s close to lots of places, many within walking distance, though in this hill town that often means walking uphill. The public elevator and funicular are nearby, and you have to try the funicular. Getting into the apartment was easy, and we found several very nice restaurants close by.

Our stay from April 24th to 27th was wonderful. The owners were so kind and helpful, and the apartment felt welcoming, spotless, and really well cared for, with lovely furnishings. They’d stocked the fridge with yogurt, different kinds of milk, orange juice, snacks, fruit juices, jams, water, and fresh fruit. The kitchen had all the utensils, dishes, pots, and pans we needed, even plastic plates, cups, and napkins. The bathroom also had towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, cleansers, and body lotion. It was truly TOP! The area of Gubbio was super quiet. I highly recommend stopping by Alessia's shop for typical products from the city, good prices, and lots of kindness. A special thank you to Mirko and Alessia for making us feel at home!

The warm welcome from Mirko and Alessia made us feel at home straight away. The apartment has everything you need, and the thoughtful decor shows real attention to detail. It’s an excellent place to stay in Gubbio. Just be ready to walk uphill along Via Consoli to get there.

We only had a short Easter weekend here, sadly, but it was a great stay. The apartment was bright, clean, spacious, and welcoming, and Mirko, Alessia, and Lorenzo were so friendly. The location is excellent, though there’s a climb on the way up. At least you get the downhill walk later! Thanks, guys.

The hardest part was having to leave. The apartment is modern, spotless, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The landlords were accommodating and helped us with things like parking and our stay. We couldn’t find anything we didn’t like. Gubbio is well worth visiting, and staying here made the trip a lovely experience. 😄
