GranNoce Bed and Breakfast

The hospitality and breakfasts were lovely, and the beds were cozy. I came here for work and found a peaceful spot in the Umbrian Apennines, with elegant, clean, comfortable rooms and greenery and animals all around. It was just right for switching off and relaxing. For the drive, Monica's directions are worth following: go through Pietralunga, then at the roundabout in the lower town follow the signs for Gubbio and Morena. The directions are also on the website in the yellow banner under the interactive map. Call for updated information, and be careful with GPS. That route is paved and easy to access. I'd happily come back for a vacation 😁

The room was a tiny cubicle, barely big enough for the bed, and smelled very musty. There was no internet connection, and the Wi-Fi didn't work. We hadn't been told about that, which was a serious problem because the place is isolated and we needed internet. The nearest town is 10 kilometers away, and breakfast is served at the owners' home. Getting there was also awful: miles on a terrible road that's mostly unpaved, and even the paved parts are in terrible condition. A terrible experience!

If you're booking, read the directions carefully. The owner is very kind, and breakfast is good. This is just the spot for anyone who wants peace and quiet.

The owner made us feel at home right away and was so helpful. Breakfast was fantastic, with fresh cakes and jams she had made. We stayed here with our two medium-sized dogs, and the room was spacious, clean, and cool. Nature surrounds the property, with hills all around and a real sense of peace. It's 40 minutes from Gubbio, with hill roads leading to nearby villages and scenic spots. The views along the way are breathtaking. A relaxing place with plenty of care in the details, highly recommended!!!
