La Signora Dei Fiori

We were seven in all, four kids and three adults, and had a wonderful time. The place was comfortable, spacious, clean, and convenient, with parking and amenities close by. We felt at home right away, and were treated with so much care. I stayed with a friend and my 10-year-old daughter, and we had a wonderful week in this bright, spacious, welcoming apartment. The flowers arranged around the place are colorful and thoughtfully set out for guests. The rooms are large, it’s spotless, and the furnishings are functional. The kitchen opens onto a huge terrace that gets lovely morning light. Signora Teresa and her daughter Michela are wonderful, attentive people with a rare sensitivity to what guests need. They were always available and gave us all the information we needed for an enjoyable stay. The location is fabulous, within walking distance of central Gubbio, with three supermarkets nearby. Gubbio itself is a little gem, and there are other enchanting Umbrian villages you can visit from there. We highly recommend the property, a 10 out of 10 without hesitation.

The apartment has no air conditioning, though the fans do offer some relief from summer heat. There’s no breakfast or daily room cleaning, which makes sense for an apartment rather than a hotel. “ La signora dei fiori” feels like a little paradise. Michela greets you with a smile, and the apartment is roomy, spotless, and tastefully furnished. The huge balcony looks out toward the mountain, and the view is enchanting. The entrance is open plan and leads to both bedrooms and the bathroom. Shops, bars, restaurants, and gas stations are all close by, and the center of Gubbio is just two minutes away.
