Giorgio will welcome you, and Acetaia Gambigliani Zoccoli is well worth booking for a balsamic vinegar tasting. We were amazed! After a day out touring, this is a lovely home to come back to. Modena and Bologna are within driving distance, and don’t miss Pavarotti’s house or the restaurant next door.

You can sample wine at a local winery about a 15-minute walk from the villa, or head to the town center for local food and wine in an authentic cafe. The villa is in a small Italian town, and it feels like a real village stay. The host is welcoming, the rooms are nice and cool, and everything was very clean. He can cook breakfast, lunch, or dinner if you ask ahead. We loved the delicious Italian food and the place.

We had a memorable private dinner in a beautiful setting, with Ticiano cooking and some lovely local wine. He’s a great chef and a great host, and shared several useful ideas for exploring the area. He also renovated the house beautifully, and it feels really cosy. I’d definitely stay again.

The setting between Vignola and Zocca comes with amazing views and lots of walking and hiking trails. You’re right in town, with easy access to what you need. I found the room rate very affordable, and the breakfast was incredible. The house is beautiful inside and out, and the owner was really nice and helpful whenever I needed anything. I had incredible dinners on site on two of the four nights. I can’t recommend this place enough.
