The staff were friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself is in extremely bad condition. It's tired and dilapidated, with holes in the room walls and very dated decor. It feels like no money has been spent on it since it was built. I wouldn't recommend staying unless the price is very compelling.

I wanted somewhere by the sea and close to the city centre, and this is the best option for everyone!

There are markets, little cafés, paid beaches and summer clubs close by. The service was friendly, and the rooms were clean. Some rooms have a nice sea view, though not all of them do. On weekends, loud music can go on until 2-3 am and disturb your sleep if you're not a party person. Breakfast didn't offer much choice, and there wasn't regional savoury bread like focaccia.

The room was clean and the location was great, but I wouldn't stay again unless the rooms had been updated. It felt depressing and uncomfortable. Everything looked stuck in the 70s: dark, dull, furry wallpaper and wicker furniture, a ripped headboard and broken chair. There was no ceiling light, just one floor lamp and bedside lamps. Breakfast was okay.

The hotel could use some modernising, but I'd still highly recommend staying here now. The location is fantastic, right across the road from the beach, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
