Hotel da Raffaele

Great location and clean. The rooms are very basic, with a hard bed and hard pillows, but the price is great if you’re on a budget.

The hotel was a pretty quiet place with friendly staff and daily room cleaning. Its central position is the big plus: it’s on a pedestrian area near restaurants, bars, the beach, and the port. Three things bothered us. The shower was so small that with a few extra kilos we probably couldn’t have got in. Our room had no wireless, and there was no balcony to dry our beach things.

The staff made us feel so welcome. They were polite, attentive, and incredibly helpful, with a kind word and smile wherever we ran into them, from reception and housekeeping to the restaurant. Special thanks to Rita, who handled an issue professionally and with a wonderful attitude. We had to leave before breakfast began, but they prepared a delicious breakfast package and excellent coffee for us, even 40 minutes before the official start. The room was even nicer than the photos, with a cozy bed, stylish interior, and a balcony overlooking the sea and picturesque streets. Everything was very clean, in the room and throughout the hotel. We also liked having the restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast came with fresh pastries and generous portions, and dinner was worth trying too, with delicious food and an excellent selection. It’s an easy 10-minute walk from the port. Although it’s on a pedestrian street, it was very quiet at night, and the view from the room was beautiful. One of the best hotel stays we’ve had. Amazing, just go! The team made it easy to get around the island, even though we don’t speak Italian. It was our first time in Ischia, and they helped us work out where to go and when. We also got discounts for some main attractions, including Negombo spa, which was perfect and sooo beautiful! Everything was close by, and the main bus station was less than a 10-minute walk away, with buses going all over the island. That made places like Aragonese Castle, Negombo, and St. Angelo easy to reach. The hotel restaurant was soo yummy, and breakfast was great too. Thanks Nando and Levio! We had the best time and couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks for taking such good care of us Nando, Levio and Memo! Gratizeeeee… ahmed Coming from Naples, it was such a relief to find the hotel so close to Ischia's port. We felt welcome from day one, thanks to Dominiquo and the rest of the amazing team. The beds were very comfortable, and our rooms were cleaned every day.
