Relais Corte degli Aragonesi

The food was a real highlight, with Italian cuisine done beautifully, and the location made it easy to reach local attractions, with stunning views too. I found the staff attentive and willing to go out of their way to make the stay memorable. Relais Corte Degli Aragonesi has an elegant, luxurious feel, but the decor still makes it comfortable. It went beyond what I expected, and I'd happily recommend it. I hope to come back.

The location was a big part of why we enjoyed our honeymoon. It's about a relaxed 15 minute walk from the port, with highly rated restaurants nearby. The area is quiet in the daytime and lively at night. When we told the kind staff we were on our honeymoon, they surprised us with a bottle of prosecco. Our room was beautiful, spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The bathroom's jacuzzi shower has a steam room setting, which we loved. The hotel is a small boutique place with about seven rooms, and it felt upscale and private without being pretentious or costing a fortune. At the end of June, we thought the suite, continental breakfast, location, and atmosphere were especially good value. A couple of things to keep in mind: the air conditioning was weak even though the weather was cooler while we were there, so it could be an issue in hotter months. The WiFi was very unreliable, especially noticeable on the island. We gave up trying to connect the TV and used our phone data instead, which worked fine, but a strong connection may matter to some people. City-facing rooms can also get loud. The windows block a lot of sound when shut, but the street has bars and restaurants, so sleeping with them open for air was noisy. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it for couples or a special occasion. The downsides didn't affect our visit, though they may matter more in busier, warmer months or to people sensitive to noise.

Ramona, Bernardo, and Mario were so friendly and helpful with all our questions and requests. They booked restaurants for us and helped with renting a car and even a boat, which made the stay feel special. The location was handy, near both the port and the little seaside town, which has plenty of shops and restaurants for its size. It was also easy to find a taxi or catch a bus nearby. Our room was very spacious, and the huge bathroom had two sinks, making everything comfortable.

The staff were professional and incredibly helpful. Our bedrooms were roomy and well furnished, with all the amenities we needed. Beaches and good restaurants were an easy walk away. Highly recommended.
