We had the half-board option, and the meals were a real highlight. Breakfast had a generous spread, from cornetti and eggs to salad, all fresh and tasty. Dinner came with starters, a first and main course, side dishes, and dessert, and it was delicious too. Everyone was so welcoming, from reception to the pool staff, and they were always ready to help with what we needed. Thanks for having us.

I felt safe and comfortable here as a solo traveler, and I’d happily return with my family. The hotel is just a short walk from the beach and the port’s restaurants, with plenty of shops nearby and very little traffic. The pools are quiet, clean, and private, with enough room for everyone. You do need a cap to swim for hygiene reasons. Staff were consistently friendly, polite, and helpful, and the reception team spoke excellent English. My room was cleaned and fresh towels were provided every day. If it’s your first time on the island, book the island and wine tour when you arrive. I left it until later in the week and wished I’d gone sooner. You can pick a tour day in your spoken language, and the guides are great. It gives you a look at different parts of the island, including a cave where local wine is available. The limoncello and meloncello were both delicious and for sale. Afterward, it’s easy to take the bus back to places you want to see again. The hotel can help with the tour and bus information. A weeklong bus ticket costs just €15, and you can get on and off around the island.

My family of four was very comfortable here, with the beach, shops, and restaurants all close by. We loved the hotel grounds and pools, and breakfast was wonderful. Service was excellent too. We’d definitely stay here again.

We loved the historic feel, the quiet atmosphere, and the mix of old-fashioned elegance with modern comforts. Our room was spotless, with a comfortable bed, a terrace facing the sea, and a bathroom window. The three heated pools were another favorite. It’s an easy walk to the free beach, or you can pay to use loungers, and getting bags there from the dock is straightforward. Breakfast has lots of choices and very good cappuccino, though it gets busy before 9 a.m. There might be too many cakes, croissants, and other sweets for some. The hotel can arrange day trips or half-day trips. All meals are served, but we chose to eat lunch and dinner out. When we visited in early October, most of the guests seemed to be older than 70 and Italian or German. I’d certainly recommend it.
