Hotel Ulisse

Our five nights at Ulysse were great. It’s very clean, and the location and view are perfect. The rooms are on the small side, but had everything we needed. Everyone was so friendly, from check-in through the breakfast crew, especially the lovely housekeepers who wished us a good day every morning. I’d definitely recommend it for a genuine slice of an Italian summer vacation.

They made us feel completely at home, and the staff were warm, professional, and went out of their way to help. We needed to arrive in Ischia a day earlier than planned, but there were no triple rooms available. So they gave the three of us two rooms for the price of one. We absolutely loved the hotel, and the breakfast was really good. A great deal overall, highly recommended!

Having a sea view room was a highlight, with a lovely view of the castle. Aragonese Castle and Ischia Port were very close, and the whole location was superb. The staff were welcoming and friendly, especially Fillipo at the breakfast buffet. He greeted us with a smile each morning, remembered our room number, and made sure we were seated and comfortable. I want his hard work to be recognized, he was fantastic. I highly recommend this place.

The shower was quite small, and the cleanliness could have been better. When we arrived, the balcony ashtray was full of cigarette butts, which was disappointing. Still, the good parts outweighed those issues, and we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ulisse. Breakfast was a highlight, delicious and served with a beautiful view of the Aragonese Castle. The staff were polite and helpful throughout, and made us feel welcome.
