The room at Hotel Villa Panoramica was the dirtiest I’ve ever encountered in a hotel. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, and the bathroom was especially disgusting. The towels and bed linen weren’t clean either. We’d booked three nights, but it was so bad we left after the first one.

The location is perfect, with a bus stop right on the main road outside, lovely restaurants nearby, and good coffee around. For the price and spot, I really can’t complain. The reception lady was cool, spoke English, and the staff were nice. I only wish I could’ve stayed a few weeks. The garden is huge, with lots of entrances that make it easy to wander around, and the view is stunning. My room was clean, my bed was made, and I got fresh towels. The walls are thin, so you can hear other guests, but in April it was quiet, everyone was respectful, and it didn’t bother me. Some walls could use paint here and there, but somehow that didn’t bother me either. I felt happy there, like I was in a novel from the ‘80ies.

From room 27, the sea view at Villa Panoramica is the best I’ve ever seen. Being near Castello Aragonese d'Ischia makes the location so beautiful that we’d love to stay here forever 💚

A really convenient spot, just 50m from the beach, and the staff were very friendly. We sent our IDs for remote check-in and found the keys waiting at reception when we arrived. The rooms are a decent size, with views of both the sea and courtyard. This B&B was great, and I’d be delighted to come back.

For the price, Hotel villa panoramica gave me the best value of all the hotels I’ve stayed at on Ischia. Beaches are close, and you’ve got what you need nearby, like a bakery, supermarket, shops, restaurants, and sightseeing. The staff were really nice and helped me find good food. I was there during Covid-19’s time, and they were understanding of my situation. The shower holder fell down and wouldn’t stay up. I’m 6ft 9 or 2 meters, and when I told reception, they fixed it for us so I could wash standing up. I often have to bend over to get water on my head, and beds are often too small for me, but that wasn’t an issue here. It felt like they understand tall people exist. There was plenty of hot water and good pressure in the shower, plus lots of good WiFi, which you don’t get at every hotel on Ischia. Five stars from me!
