Sunstar Hotel Piemont

The food, service, and view were all spectacular. This was my second stay, and I truly enjoyed it. The whole team made me feel more welcome than I've experienced at any hotel. I can highly recommend it.

The surprise birthday cake for my mother and Peter’s introduction to a fantastic wine from his cellar of over 400 labels made us feel especially cared for. We had dinner on the terrace in sunny weather, and it was wonderful. We’d visited the Sunstar Hotel Piedmont with our family to celebrate her 80th birthday, and everything was outstanding again. The hotel's beautiful view stretches all the way to Alba, and Peter Müller and his team were warm and attentive from booking through our stay. Although it isn't officially marked as wheelchair accessible, I had no trouble getting around in my electric wheelchair, which hasn't always been my experience elsewhere. The large lift helped, as did the spacious underground garage, with four Wallboxes via eCarUP and high-power outlets for electric cars. The hotel is very well maintained and welcoming. We’re already planning a return in autumn with friends for truffle tasting. Many thanks again, Michael Hagmann & Family.

Even a short weekend here felt like a whole week of holidays, and I came away feeling recharged. The place is charming, quiet, and very relaxing. Peter and his team make sure you have everything you could want. Dinner is cooked fresh each day with lots of care and attention to detail, and the beautiful cellar has a wide choice of wines to pair with a delicious multi-course meal. The place and its team are an absolute must see, and a great reason to visit the Piedmont.

The pool and gardens are lovely, with stunning views. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and lovely. I'd highly recommend visiting the Locanda San Michele restaurant too.
