The included breakfast was amazing, with proper coffee, and dinner at the restaurant was very good too. The food quality made the prices, similar to other places on the island, feel worthwhile. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout. I found the room functional and comfortable, with useful furniture for unpacking and storing my bicycle bags. It wasn't spacious, but I didn't find it small either. The bathroom was very tight, bidet included, though everything worked and was accessible. The hotel and restaurant sit in beautiful surroundings, and the common areas are cozy and practical. For me, the value was extremely good. Prices seem to shift with demand, season, and weekdays, which felt fair.

We found the free shuttle to the beaches and the port really convenient. The breakfast that came with the stay was delicious, and our room was quiet, comfortable, and spotless. The staff couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. My partner and I had a great stay in early October. Highly recommended!

We got around to different places and then Raj picked us up with the free shuttle, which felt like a real luxury. Francesco was our host and was friendly and helpful throughout. The view from our room was amazing, and the hotel itself was gorgeous and super clean. Breakfast was delicious too. We loved every minute of our stay, and the price felt very reasonable for the location and service.

The staff really make this hotel, they're friendly and clearly love their work. The shuttle makes getting around Giglio easy, and the packed lunch is a great choice if you're spending the day exploring a remote area. Rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and breakfast is good for getting the day started. Hotel Castello Monticello is amazing for a 3-star. I'd highly recommend it to anyone staying on Giglio!

The hotel shuttle driver was fantastic and always on time, though I wish I could remember his name. We had beautiful views and were so close to the beach. Breakfast was amazing, and everyone on staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. A wonderful experience all around, highly recommended. Thanks!!!!
