We spent 10 nights here in September 2025, staying in a Mimosa tiny house for four adults. The house really is tiny, but comfortable, and its large covered terrace gave us plenty of privacy. We mostly used the house just to sleep. There’s one bedroom; the other bed is a pull-out daybed in the living room. The description does say this, though I hadn’t fully understood it from reading it. The house was clean and equipped as described. The Mimosa homes sit at the top of the village, so you can hardly see the rest of the campsite from the terrace, but there’s an uphill walk of about 50 meters. We didn’t hear road traffic from there. It might be different for pitches and places lower down, although the road was quiet during our stay. There’s a small shop for bread and basics, and more shops within a 20-minute drive. We liked the campsite pizza, which was tasty and good value. We didn’t use the toilets or showers, so I can’t say how they were. Only the deep pool was open while we were there. The water was crystal clear, but it’s too deep to stand in. That kept people from lingering and made it less crowded, though it could be a problem for children or anyone who can’t swim. The area is amazing, with lovely nature and cultural sights. The Côte d’Azur and the Alps are also a short drive away, so it works well for both short and longer trips. We’d definitely recommend it and plan to come back.

Our pitch was right beside a very noisy road, and there was no Wi-Fi. The bathrooms were disgusting, with dirt everywhere, wet toilet paper in the showers, hair all over, and a horrible smell. We’ve stayed at campsites charging €15 a night that were much cleaner. On arrival they added €90 because we weren’t ADAC members, even though that was never mentioned when we booked.

The pool was a real help in the heat, and everyone working there was friendly. Andrea was especially great at check-in and suggested a lovely beach for us, which kept my cousin and his friends happily occupied. Our apartment for six was clean and comfortable. We loved our stay and will definitely return.

The reception was chaotic, so keep a close eye on what you’ve already paid and what’s still due. Part of the campsite is being built, and plenty of areas, including the washrooms, aren’t finished yet. Still, the location is nice, with a good restaurant, pool, and bar that has live music regularly. The pitches aren’t large, but there’s enough room, and power and water taps are close to all of them. I have mixed feelings.

For what it costs, I’d pick almost any other campsite. The pitches can be too small for a caravan, and the ground is hilly and uneven, not good for a regular sleeping pad. Tents cost extra, there are lots of ants, and Wi-Fi only works at the bar. There’s one wash house for the whole site, and it’s still a construction site. The men’s side has just four toilets, all very dirty, plus one dirty sink. At the bar, the music is extremely loud and keeps going until midnight. Most of the staff, about 90%, were unfriendly, and they often forgot our orders. The lifeguard spent the time watching TikTok and didn’t seem to care. Camping here was okay, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
