The food around here is wonderful, and the couple of restaurants in town are both amazing. The pizzeria is known across the region, and there are also two or three bars within an easy walk. Isolabona itself is stunning, tucked among hills and mountains. Our apartment on via Orsini was charming and well equipped, with a lovely valley view. The French and Italian Rivieras are easy to reach by car, and the nearby valley towns are beautiful and worth visiting, or walking to if you’re fit enough. We’ll definitely come back.

The owners were so friendly and kind. Casa Valentino is roomy, with lots of rooms, a cozy bathroom, and a nice view across town from the rooftop. Isolabona feels quiet and almost like a fairytale, but beautiful beaches and larger towns are still nearby. I loved staying here.

The narrow lanes around Casa Isolabona feel just right for the little Italian village setting. My partner and I had a wonderfully romantic stay there while visiting friends in the neighbouring home. Inside, it has the quaint charm you’d expect from a 14th-century house. We’d love to come back soon, and I’d recommend it to anyone after somewhere relaxed with a bit of culture.
