Villa Sara

The owners made us feel like their own children, and we’ll always remember how warmly they looked after us. The villa itself is just as lovely. Set in beautiful Ispica, in the heart of the Val di Noto, it has four double bedrooms, all with air conditioning and private bathrooms, plus a spacious living area with billiards, a study, a kitchen, and another bathroom. Outside there’s a huge garden with a barbecue and wood-fired oven, along with a large patio that has a fully equipped kitchen and dining space. There’s also a covered play area, laundry room, and another bathroom. The pool is enormous, and the villa has all the appliances and useful extras you could need. Highly recommended for a comfortable, luxurious stay.

The best place to unwind is under the century-old tree, where hammocks and chairs let you relax surrounded by nature. The villa has a huge, clean pool and a garden where kids can play, with a swing and gym. Inside, the rooms are spacious and have ensuite bathrooms, and the living room has poker, roulette, and billiards tables, plus a TV. There’s plenty to do outside too, from ping pong and barbecuing to karaoke, dancing, and entertainment on the veranda. The view looks out over the area. The owner was wonderful with our family, and we left feeling like we were saying goodbye to a relative. I’d happily come back a thousand times.

We spent the first week of July at Villa Sara, and the place is even more impressive in person than it looks in the photos. There’s so much room outdoors for sports, fun, and relaxing, including ping pong, table football, volleyball, and a semi-Olympic-sized pool. Everything is right there at the villa. The house has every comfort, and Antonino and Sara were remarkably helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended, and we’ll be back!

We wished we could have stayed longer, but we’re sure to return next year. The hosts, Mr. and Mrs. Calabrese, were attentive and always available. Their villa sits in a beautiful park with a huge green expanse and seemingly endless space. The clear, clean water in the majestic pool really stands out. It’s a unique property with every comfort you could want. I’d recommend a stay here! 👋👍😄
