B&B Selu

The garden is such a cute, peaceful spot, and the B&B was super clean. Valentina is also a really sweet and generous host.

A peaceful place and a wonderful host, with a family friendly feel. It’s easy to get to the climbing areas in jerzu and Ulussai.

The breakfast in the romantic garden was a real treat, whether you prefer sweet or savory. There were traditional pastries and cakes, fresh croissants and fruit, plus omelets with cheese and bacon, with cappuccino, coffee, or whatever else you wanted. We happened upon Valentina’s B&B by chance, and it turned out to be very lucky. The setting is enchanting and so peaceful. The property feels welcoming and unique, and it’s kept immaculate, fresh, and quiet. Valentina is a force of nature and takes wonderful care of her guests. I’d call SELU a true bed and breakfast. The real heart of B&B Selu is Valentina and Alberto, such kind and helpful people. On our trek, Valentina shared her love and deep knowledge of local wild herbs, explaining their properties and benefits as she led us through magnificent scenery. Back at the mountain, Alberto had set a lovely table on a unique panoramic terrace, with views across the valley to the sea. We ate authentic local food, including unforgettable fregola prepared with herbs gathered on the walk. The rooms are lovingly furnished, carefully maintained, and exceptionally clean, and breakfast offers a generous range of delicious choices. The property sits amid greenery in Jerzu’s beautiful limestone hills, with every detail thought through to make guests feel at home. It’s a wonderful place run by wonderful people. If you’re after relaxation, culture, fun, and unspoiled nature, this is an authentic Ogliastra experience that shouldn’t be missed. Highly recommended!
