Astromare

I liked being at the upper end of the main street, where it was a little quieter than the middle but shops, cafes, and the beach were still easy to reach. For a 3 star hotel, it was very good value, with clean rooms, good service, and a great buffet breakfast. Rooms have balconies, and the best ones are on the 3rd or 4th floor at the front, looking over the piazza. There's an easy bus route to the airport or Venice ferry, plenty of allocated sun loungers with parasols on the beach a 3 minutes walk away, and good cafes nearby.

The beds were comfortable, and we were received very warmly. The hotel is nicely placed near the beach and seaside, but set back from the lively street, so it's quiet. The rooms aren't well isolated, though, and we could hear noise from people inside the hotel. Parking spots are quite narrow.

The staff were friendly, but the buffet was very messy, and I found a long black hair in my scrambled eggs. Nobody even apologized. The rooms are small, there was a bad odor from the gutter all day, and the swimming pool was disappointing. There's no bar. I wouldn't want to see the kitchen.

This is our second time staying here, and we think it's the best price/quality ratio. The location is very good, near the Main Street but not too noisy. Parking, an umbrella, and sun beds are all included in the price. Breakfasts are amazing, with lots of fruit, fresh orange juice, fresh apple-carrot juice, plenty of cakes, and other options.
