Dinner was generous and tasty, with excellent desserts and many kinds of salad. The service always came with a smile. Hotel Sofia in Lido di Jesolo is only a few steps from the beach and close to restaurants, shops, and everything needed for a relaxing holiday. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the clean, comfortable rooms and welcoming, well-maintained hotel exceeded my expectations. It’s listed as a 3-star hotel, but with what it offers, I think it deserves 4 stars. I really enjoyed my time at Hotel Sofia and would gladly return. Highly recommended for a visit to Lido di Jesolo!

The food was fantastic, and Vladi, who served us at meals, deserves a special thank you. He was very polite and patient with our small child, who could be noisy and make a mess sometimes. We had a great stay at Hotel Sofia and have never met such friendly staff.

We booked half board, which we understood to include lunch every day, but on our last day they said we couldn’t have lunch without full board. They also told us it would cost €40 for two people if we wanted to eat there that day. We were charged €6 for a cola at lunch. The first two nights we had two hand towels, then we only got one each time. The day before driving home, we paid another €6 for a cola, and today we didn’t get the rest of it back, so I paid €6 for a half-full cola 🙏👋

The rooms are clean, and you can rent bicycles. It’s a very nice, well-equipped hotel in a good location, with a nice big swimming pool.

The breakfast service was poor, there was no internet, and the staff didn’t know English. The rooms were small and packed with furniture. It didn’t seem like a good place to stay, though this sort of thing apparently comes with this hotel category in Jesolo. I wouldn’t stay again if I ever come back to Jesolo.
