Camping Parco Capraro

We stayed in a mobile home and had a good time. The site is well maintained, with a good pizzeria and bar, and the kids can enjoy the small pool and other attractions by the bar. It's a bit out of the way from Jesolo centre, but you can get there by bike or a patient walk. A pleasant ten-minute stroll through the Pineta takes you to the beach, where there's a free area to set up your umbrella and towels.

A good, affordable basic campsite, though not a luxury one. The showers and toilets are a bit old but work, and one 50-cent tocen gets you a shower. There's a dog park next door, which was a big plus, and a nice forest path down to the seaside. The pools have slides for children, and the restaurant food was quite good. Jesolo is a nice little town. We drove to Venice, though you can also get there by boat from Jesolo.

The place has a laid-back, authentic feel, with very local guests, at least 90 per cent Italians, which I like when camping abroad. Since it isn't right on the beach, it isn't overrun by tourists and prices are a little more relaxed. I stayed a few days with my bicycle and tent. The pool was clean, breakfast was cheap and tasty, the pizza was good, and there's a supermarket on site. The toilets and showers were huge and clean. Definitely recommend it if you want a professional but relaxed campsite.

The food was nice, though the facilities felt old. For what we paid through ACSI, it was worth it.
