We were at Condor at the end of August and were happy with our choice. Our room had a beautiful sea view, and sitting on the balcony in the evening to hear the waves was wonderful. Since we came to swim and sunbathe, being on the beachfront was a big draw. The sun lounger setup was excellent too. In the morning, anyone can get a card for two loungers at reception, so there’s no need to rush down early in case all the places are taken. Breakfast was great, with lots of different dishes. I especially liked the pastries and sweets. I’ve stayed at many hotels, and Condor is the only one so far with such a big selection of sweets. I can’t say whether that’s typical of Italian hotel breakfasts. A few years ago I stayed at a different hotel in Lido di Jesolo, where breakfast was meagre, with just yogurt and salami sandwiches. The pool was another plus, especially in August when changing weather and frequent storms can make the sea off limits. I’d suggest different hours, though. Right now it’s open only from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and I think guests would appreciate 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. instead. I hope the Condor managers see this part. On our first day, receptionist Ksenia kindly helped us order dinner by email because we weren’t sure we’d get from the airport on time. Everything worked out smoothly. We also wanted to explore Venice and Burano on our own but didn’t know the best way. Ksenia explained where to catch the bus near Condor Hotel and where to find a boat to Burano. She planned the whole trip for us in five minutes, and it was a great voyage. Thank you, Ksenia! Love from St. Petersburg, Almaty, and Germany. I hope you remember us 💔 We’ll definitely return to Condor and visit more lovely Italian cities. Sunny beach days, the sea, and the beauty of Italian culture are just what we love!

The location is excellent, with lovely views of the pool and sea. The bedrooms are spacious and decorated with a beach feel, the air conditioning works well, and there’s a handy mini fridge. The pool is a good size, though shallow all the way through, so swimming options are limited. It’s open 09:00-19:00, which suits some guests but not everyone. Breakfast looks appealing, but at times the food tasted old or close to its expiry date, so check before eating. We had a strong sewage smell from the bathroom drains, sink, and toilet, and it spread into the bedroom. Reception also discouraged us from filling bottles with tap water and insisted we buy bottled water at the bar. That seemed unnecessary since we were already using tap water to shower and flush. At the bar, staff filled our bottle without a problem. Reception could use clearer customer service guidance and more flexibility. There was confusion about whether poolside food and drinks were complimentary. Staff first said food was free and drinks cost extra, but later the manager confronted my partner about paying for food he’d been told was free. The manager got aggressive and intrusive, raised his voice, and gestured very close to my partner. We explained calmly, but the situation escalated for no good reason. Clear signs about charges would help. We also saw free drinks and pool activities being offered selectively to young women. It came across as unprofessional and created uncomfortable power dynamics. Some staff seemed pressured or uncomfortable with the manager’s behavior.

We enjoyed our stay, and the hotel gives you what we want from a beach stay for a good price. The staff were helpful. At first we were put in the wrong room, but they fixed it right away.

It’s a nice hotel with a bit of an old-fashioned feel, and it’s family run. Parking is poor.
