Palm Beach

For a family holiday, it has what you need for sea, sun, and beach, with a quiet beach and a friendly crew. Thanks to Züher. Breakfast was fine, the coffee was nice, the air conditioning worked well, and there are free parking spaces. It’s about 15 minutes from the center. This is a basic resort hotel, so don’t expect the range of facilities you might get at a city 3-star hotel. Our room was small, the shower drain was clogged, and there was no minibar. Sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach cost extra.

The parking is the reason I can’t recommend this place. It’s extremely tight, dangerous, and ridiculous. If you weigh more than 180lb, you won’t be able to get out of your car after parking. That alone brings my rating down to 2 stars. The hotel is in a great, almost beachfront location. The rooms could use some improvement, though they’re very clean and the A/C works well. The staff are nice and helpful, and the breakfast is very good.

The breakfast was okay, but the hotel is old and near the beach. The beds and chairs are old and uncomfortable, and the sunbeds are by the public toilet. They won’t let you use the sunbeds on your last day, even if you’re checking out at 10:00h. The towels, sheets, and pillowcases were clean, but they smelled so strongly of a cleaning agent like bleach that I couldn’t sleep.

I don’t recommend this place. The hotel is ancient and doesn’t look like the photos, and the cleaning was horrible. The walls are very thin, so I couldn’t sleep because of snoring from other rooms. There was no electricity outlet for charging my phone, just a super old USB plug. I had to cut my vacation short after our car window was broken by locals for fun while parked outside. They didn’t steal anything. The hotel cleaning staff stole my bag, and when I asked the receptionist for help, she didn’t try to help and said it was my fault. The only positive staff were the restaurant workers; the others were really bad.
