The balcony view was a 10/10, and Lucia and Igor were so kind. It was my second stay at Amaranto99, and I’ll definitely be back. The rooms are cozy and clean, and breakfast is handmade and delicious. Best place to stay in L’Aquila.
We booked at Amaranto99 at the last minute and couldn’t have picked better. The owners gave us such a warm welcome, and the room was really comfortable. Being right in the center means dinner is always close by. Breakfast was fabulous, and came with lots of helpful ideas for outdoor activities in the nearby mountains. It’s a great base for exploring Gran Sasso and Sirente-Velino. I’d love to return in winter.

Having breakfast on the terrace and looking out at the Gran Sasso was one of the best parts of our stay. Lucia made us fresh omelets every morning, along with truly exceptional homemade desserts. The owners were attentive and so hospitable, making us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Our room at Amaranto 99 was spotless, with thoughtful details everywhere and a real sense of care. This place will stay in our hearts. We’re sure to see you again soon!
