B&B Torrione

The price was good. I booked all of B&B Torrione with friends, and the house was spacious, with four bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and two bathrooms, though only one had a shower. The old furnishings felt austere. The bedroom I used was very clean and had comfortable beds, and my friends said the same about theirs. The kitchen was another matter: it was so dirty we had to wash the glasses and cutlery before using them. On top of that, the lady rang to ask about our plans for the evening and reminded us to clean the kitchen if we used it, as though we needed that explained.

I had a terrible stay and can’t recommend the place. Even though I’d booked days ahead, the owner had given my room to someone else. She only offered a room with a crumbling private bathroom and a shared shower, which was obviously unacceptable, especially during the pandemic. The owner was rude, and as I was leaving she taunted me, saying I could shower at a nearby pool.

It’s a family-run B&B with four roomy, comfortable rooms. Bars, a bakery, pharmacy, supermarkets, banks, and a post office are all nearby, and WiFi is free. The place stays cool in summer and warm in winter.

The place was clean, peaceful, and welcoming. The owner was lovely and put us at ease straight away. I’d definitely recommend it.
