Ginepro d'Abruzzo

The food at their Pasqualina restaurant was a real highlight. The menu gives traditional ingredients an original spin, and the dishes were delicious and generous: gnocchi with pumpkin cream and Blu di Lucoli cheese, Kataifi cheese with honey and Nori, pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, and arrosticini served in a terracotta pot. Everything was carefully made, with attentive, friendly service, and prices are very competitive. The rooms are spacious, clean, recently renovated in a rustic style, well heated, and have plenty of hot water. Breakfast is excellent too, with generous, perfectly crisp French croissants, homemade cake, yogurt, toast, jams, and Nutella. A perfect base for skiing at Campo Felice if you’re looking for a superior level of hospitality.

Mrs. Pasqualina always greets you with a smile and cooks excellent home-style food. The renovated rooms are warm and welcoming, and there’s a small private parking lot. It’s a great option for skiing at Campo Felice, just 6 km from the slopes.

The food was excellent and full of flavor, with real care given to the ingredients. The place is well organized and professionally run, and the clean, beautiful rooms are set up to suit individual needs. Irene on the staff was both professional and friendly. It feels like a place where time stands still. Well done, everyone!

We’ve stayed here for two years, my family and I. Casamaina di Lucoli is an excellent base, just steps from the main ski resorts and some of Abruzzo’s most beautiful valleys. The rooms are clean, with wooden ceilings typical of local chalets. Breakfast is rustic, with croissants, ring cakes, tarts, cereals, yogurt, toast, Nutella, and individually portioned jams. The staff are extremely friendly, starting with the owner, Pasqualina.
