We came in winter and it was amazing. The place is somewhat isolated, but very nicely equipped.

The staff were polite, the owner kind and helpful, and the dog was fantastic. Still, a few things need updating, especially for what the stay costs. The quality doesn't quite match the price. The facility is new and very nice, and the room is large and well furnished. But the heated pool felt rather cold, and there were only two loungers in the pool relaxation area. The double bed had two mattresses with just a simple sheet over them, no fitted covers. The sheet naturally slipped off after a while, so we were left sleeping directly on the mattresses, which felt unhygienic. Breakfast was poor for €15. I asked whether there was a chocolate brioche, but the waitress didn't know what the ones on the trays contained. A second waitress later said they were only jam brioches.

We felt very well looked after here, with a thoughtful and attentive welcome. The food was fabulous, with typical local dishes, and the prices were reasonable. The hotel has spacious, well-kept areas, while the rooms are large and extremely clean. Set among the Langhe hills, it's a splendid location, and the clean pool works well for both adults and children. Well done!
