My train arrived five hours late, well past check-in time, but the owners still waited for me. The room and bathroom were clean, and both the owner and housekeeper were kind. It’s about a ten-minute walk from the station. I stayed in July and had a great experience.

The bedroom was nice, the bathroom worked well, and the air conditioning was good. The apartment is in a calm building near La Spezia center and the main pedestrian street, about a 15-minute walk from the railway station. The owner has divided the apartment into three individual rooms. Our room was cleaned every two days, which we got used to. WiFi wasn’t great in our room, and our phone operators’ 3G/4G wasn’t any better. I recommend it.

I first stayed at Affittacamere il Viaggiatore in September 2015 and came back year after year. The rooms are fairly large and very clean, and the port and train station are both nearby, around a 10-minute walk. For a holiday in La Spezia, I recommend this place. Don’t miss Cinque Terre and its small towns, or a trip to Porto Venere.

We had a great time and felt at home for a few days. The room was modern and very clean. Check-in is at another place about five minutes away, but that caused no trouble since the owner came along with us. They also suggested some really good restaurants. I highly recommend staying here.

Giacomo welcomed us, went over everything, and suggested places to visit. They accommodated our arrival time, and the woman in charge of the apartment was friendly and attentive to all our needs. The room was spacious and charming, in an excellent location, and very clean and comfortable. Definitely recommended.
