My girlfriend and I booked about ten days ahead for last August, then shortly before we were due to leave, the manager called to say our room had already been booked by mistake. The way the manager handled this unpleasant situation was rude, too. I strongly advise against booking at Cernaia 42 unless you’re willing to risk this happening. If you value your vacation, don’t risk having this makeshift B&B ruin it.

It’s close enough to the city center to get around easily, and the price feels fair. The room itself was spacious, modern, clean, and comfortable. The big drawback was how little soundproofing there was.
