The views are beautiful at night, with La Spezia, the Italian hills on one side, and the military navy port below. It's a lovely, well-equipped apartment. You do have to walk uphill from town if you miss the last bus, but that never bothered us.

The garden and hilltop setting, with its lovely harbor view, were real highlights. The apartment had all the comforts we needed, and the owner was kind and helpful, sharing plenty of useful information for our stay. We had a great time.
