The owner was very polite, and the room and bed were clean. There was a hair dryer in the bathroom, which was a nice extra. But I was freezing because it was so cold, and the kitchen was locked on purpose, so I couldn't even get a knife to eat my kiwi.

We were left abandoned, though luckily a local in La Spezia helped us. I hope nobody else has to go through that kind of anxiety and stress, especially at night in an unfamiliar street. Tourists depend on trains and other transport, and things can go wrong because of weather or service problems. We don't have wings or a way to teleport. We had clearly emailed that trains were delaying us and asked for the keys to be left in the room, as many private rooms do. Lia just launched into a monologue about it being our fault and not her problem, demanded extra euros, and hung up whenever we called. She showed no basic humanity or ethics. Her outlandish attitude and cheap business tactics feel illicit and shortsighted, and will only ruin people's trips.

This place is a scam! Lia Rooms 3 saw us at the house and refused to speak to us, so we were locked out and had to book another hotel. She ran off and never answered a call or email. €100 for a scam? Are we supposed to be a charity? Absolutely criminal. Please don't book!

The rooms were new and clean, the staff friendly, and the price was good. I'd definitely recommend it.
