Garni Haus Gilli

Breakfast was delicious and had everything we wanted. The bathroom and room were spotless too. We only stayed one night at Haus Gilli, but the hostess made us feel at home straight away and welcomed us warmly with a schnapps. We wish we could’ve stayed longer. Thanks for the hospitality!

Silvia made us feel welcome at Haus Gilli, even though we arrived half an hour after check-in. We stayed from April 30th to May 7th, 2025, and found the apartment very clean, well equipped for our needs, and cleaned every day. Breakfast was just right for us. There were fresh rolls, cold cuts, cheese, eggs, fruit, homemade spreads, and cereals each morning, and Silvia made sure our coffee wishes were met. She’s the heart of the house and always has helpful tips or advice. We’ll book again.

We’d gladly stay here again. The apartments are clean and spacious, and the Gilli family are incredibly friendly. The hosts also gave us great advice on walks and the weather. It’s a fantastic base for hiking, with a lovely view over Merano. With the lift pass, rides on the chairlift and gondola cost just €1 each, so getting down to the valley or up above 1500 metres is quick and affordable. We were completely satisfied.

Four years of visits and we still love coming here. Our room is always clean and cared for, with a fantastic view. Silvia serves breakfast with so much care and always has good hike and excursion ideas. Even the daily bed making has a playful touch, sometimes a heart, sometimes a snail. The gondola and chairlift passes for just €1 are great too. We’re glad we found Haus Gilli and plan to return in 2025. Best wishes, Anja and Matthias.
