Livehotel Friedheim

We've been returning for several years, timing our visits with the Christmas markets, and Ruster Resort has been dependable each time. On arrival, we were welcomed with a glass of prosecco at the Ruster Keller Biergarten restaurant and brewery, part of the multi-building complex. Reception was friendly and helpful, and gave us an AlgundCard so we could use public transport around the villages without a car. Our rooms were clean, warm, and welcoming, and the service was impeccable. See you next year, and thank you!

The staff were warm and helpful, and the location is handy for both Merano and Lagundo, just a few minutes from their centers. Our room was spacious, attractive, and clean, with a pleasant bathroom and a terrace overlooking the view. The outdoor sauna was comfortable, and breakfast had a good selection. Recommended.

The pool area has become modern and has improved a lot over the years. We’ve stayed in the Schönblick and Friedheim rooms and have always found them tastefully furnished for their category and in good condition. Breakfast costs €16, so it isn't the cheapest, but there's plenty of it and enough choice to leave everyone satisfied. We've been fans of the Rust Resort for years and will definitely return. 😉

We enjoyed the pool and whirlpool after hikes and outings, and the hotel among the orchards is in a beautiful setting. Breakfast was excellent on the terrace, with a view of the Merano mountains. The lighting was a real problem, though. A bright spotlight on the parking lot shone straight into our room, and the balcony light was much too strong and couldn't be switched off.
