We liked how peaceful the hotel was, even though it’s close to Merano. The team were friendly and gave us useful tips on places to visit. Our room was comfortable and clean, with its own sauna, and we enjoyed the good food at the restaurant. The garden and swimming pool are nearby too.

Getting around was easy thanks to the excellent bus and train links, so we left the car parked. The spacious, well-equipped room was a lovely place to unwind, and we made daily use of the Hydrosoft private sauna. The food was delicious, especially the cheese buffet. We did wish there had been more ready-made salads, though. The evening menu promised “fine salads from the buffet,” but there were only ingredients to mix ourselves. A relaxing stay overall, with that small point about the food.

The owner was very friendly and gave us helpful advice. We also enjoyed the fresh fruit at breakfast and the excellent dinner. The hotel is conveniently situated on Lagundo's main avenue, and the deal with the bike rental shop was great. A transport pass covering some cable cars was included too.

Dinner was excellent, served in an elegant setting, and breakfast had a very good range and plenty to choose from. Our room was spotless and well cared for, with a lovely bathroom, a pleasant shower, and a Hydrosoft wellness cabin. The hotel itself is quiet, comfortable, and very well maintained. We were warmly welcomed, and the staff treated us with great courtesy and provided excellent service.
