Obermaratscher Apartments Residence

Claudia was a wonderful host, and getting around by public transport was easy. The apartment had a dishwasher in the kitchen and all the amenities we needed. Perfect for a holiday.

The garden is huge, lovingly planted and maintained, with quiet corners, a table tennis table, a grill, a pavilion, plenty of loungers, and space around the great pool. There's a sweet trust-based setup for buying drinks, homemade spreads, and eggs from the property's own chickens. It's a lovely house, and everything was clean and well cared for in both apartments we've stayed in, last year and this year. C. + C. are the most wonderful hosts. We'll keep coming back, with or without our grown-up kids. The region is always worth a trip, and Obermaratscher makes it even more special. Thanks for being here ❣️🥰

From our second-floor apartment, the view stretched over Algund and Merano to the village of Tirolo and the mountains. It was breathtaking. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and over our two-week summer holiday we especially loved the beautifully landscaped, well-kept garden. It was thoughtfully laid out, and we could always find a spot to ourselves. Many thanks, Claudia and Christian!

There was a bus stop right outside the building, and the Algund Card gave us free travel throughout the region plus discounts at various museums. Our hosts looked after us wonderfully and shared lots of restaurant and sightseeing tips. The balcony view of the village, Merano, and Tirolo was fantastic, and the saltwater pool in the beautiful garden was perfect for cooling down in the summer heat.
